Pace is a personal progress tracker. This policy explains what data exists and where it lives — in plain language.
Everything — goals, logs, check-ins, reflections — is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device. Nothing is sent to any server. Clearing your browser data deletes it permanently, so use the export feature for backups.
We store your email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), and a copy of your Pace data (goals, logs, check-ins, reflections, preferences) so it can sync across your devices. This data is stored in a Cloudflare D1 database. It is used for nothing except providing the app to you.
Your Pace data is stored in Cloudflare KV keyed by your anonymous sync code, with no email or identity attached. Anyone who knows the code can access that data, so treat it like a password.
No ads, no analytics trackers, no selling or sharing of data with third parties, no profiling. Emails (when enabled) are limited to login codes, reminders you opted into, and weekly digests you can unsubscribe from with one click.
You can export all your data as JSON at any time from Settings, and you can delete your account (and all server-side data with it) from the account panel in the app. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
